A thoughtful post for one who is an octogenarian . As a retired English teacher, I am aware of writers much younger than I am who consistently misuse objective and subjective pronouns. I want to explain the rules to them, but my husband says that unless someone is asking for my help with their grammar and usage, then I would offend them. I feel as if my knowledge is invading the space of others; whereas I am eager to teach.
I do think it’s tricky! There are places where we need to take up space and places where we need to just let things be. It can sometimes be about delivery if we’re offering help

Agreed. Surely the Facebook post you discussed also required sensitive delivery in sharing differing “Christian” perspectives
